Fall Classic…

It was my third year in a row at the Fall Classic. This year though, it was a week later, and they offered finisher medals for their 30th anniversary. I was recovering from a cold that cost me two sick days and my training regimen. I was also running with a sore left calf (from a United Way ball hockey fundraiser on Friday). Amazingly, I not only posted my best time yet, but also beat all my 15K times (albeit they had inclines) and my best 10K pace (ironically, I was also running injured that day). Not a bad way to end my running season…
