The Moose is Loose…

I was particularly nervous about this race because it was my most difficult to date. I trained along as much of the course as possible; but even with a palm holder to hydrate for the long runs, the sweltering heat made practises harsh. The rain finally came and cooled things down just in time for the race. I never really stopped running (even at the water stations) because I had my own hydration and never “hit the wall” per se. Dan and Clara surprised me just before the finish line with their cheers, propelling me to my fastest half-marathon time to date…
