Edmonton Marathon…

The weather cooled off just before the race, which was my saving grace for not preparing adequately this year. Because of the change in venue, I commuted by car and rail. This year’s race course saw a lot more spectators, several of whom I recognized and greeted. I spent most of the race chasing packs, and never really found anyone to chase. I managed to beat last year’s time, but I was also seven seconds shy of my trail half-marathon time a month ago. (Not bad for little-to-no training, I guess…)
