I awoke to pouring rain and sub-10°C temperatures on Sunday morning. It took me nearly half-an-hour to mentally prepare and leave the house for my longest-ever training run. The rain never stopped and I ran a route that was over 95% exposed. I finished right around my marathon goal pace despite soaking from head to toe; however, early signs of hypothermia began to set in after I got home (had to stretch and relieve myself before finally hopping into the shower).
