Lately, my longer runs have been a grind; I’ve been unable to keep up with my paces from last year’s training runs. But while I experienced similar general fatigue training for last year’s marathon, it’s been exacerbated this year by slower days at work and longer days otherwise. I anticipated this even before beginning my marathon training regimen, but it doesn’t make it any easier. Like me, Running Man is progressing quicker than in previous years. It bodes well for them, and it makes the light at the end of my tunnel less distant…
