I didn’t put in a solo run until mid-April, my latest personal start yet. And, predictably, it  didn’t end well for me. I tried again the week after and managed to finish better with less walking, less pain and less recovery, but I clocked six minutes per kilometre. That doesn’t bode well for my season moving forward, but I’ll settle for basically starting from scratch again if it means I can run for a long time (as in years…or even decades). Our first race is in two Saturdays, and I’m barely ready for a 10K. (Time to adjust my running targets…)
